MPAV: FX & Dynamics is a 30-month, 1205-hour master-level programme specialising in 3D simulation and dynamics — one of the most technically demanding and highest-paid disciplines in the film and VFX industry. It is open to 10th/12th pass students. No prior 3D experience is required — the 12-month Foundation phase builds all core skills before you move into dynamics and simulation work.
You will learn to simulate a comprehensive range of effects: fluids and liquids, fire, smoke, blood, debris, object shattering (glass, buildings, vehicles), weather phenomena (storm clouds, rain), energy effects (vortex, shockwaves, blasts), and cloth, hair, and fur (CHF) dynamics. These cover virtually every type of simulation seen in Bollywood, Hollywood, and OTT productions.
Yes. Houdini is covered in both the Intermediate + Portfolio Development phase and the Master + Portfolio Development phase, giving you progressive hands-on experience with one of the most in-demand FX tools in the industry. You will also work with Maya Dynamics, Blender FX, Phoenix FD, and tyFlow alongside Houdini.
The Foundation phase covers ChatGPT, Google Gemini AI, Leonardo AI, Midjourney, and ComfyUI for VFX as concept and reference tools. The Intermediate phase introduces Runway ML, Kling AI, Eleven Labs, and Clipchamp for production workflow. AI tools are used to accelerate ideation, pre-visualisation, and asset generation alongside traditional FX pipelines.
